E.J. Swift Nominated for Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award


Swift-ThumbE.J. Swift‘s short story THE SPIDERS OF STOCKHOLM has been nominated on the star-studded long-list for the prestigious Sunday Times 2015 EFG Short Story Award!

The short-list will be announced on Sunday 1st March. Readings from the shortlist will be hosted at Foyles on Charing Cross Road between Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd April. The winner will be announced on Friday 24 April, 2015, at a Gala dinner at Stationer’s Hall, London (the event begins at 6.45 pm, and the prize will be announced at approximately 9pm).

THE SPIDERS OF STOCKHOLM was first published IRREGULARITY, an anthology published by Jurassic London of original fiction published in collaboration with the National Maritime Museum, and released as part of their celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Longitude Act. The story has now also been made available on the Times website (behind the paywall, sadly). The anthology is available in paperback and eBook.
