True Blood, the HBO series based on Charlaine Harris‘s superb Sookie Stackhouse novels has wowed audiences in the US, picking up awards galore including a couple of Golden Globes! Now Channel 4 have announced they have acquired the series for terrestrial transmission in the UK in a huge deal. The show is scheduled to air later this year.
