DIE FLÜSSE VON LONDON: AUTOWAHN coming soon!

On August 27th, Panini are due to publish the Germany edition of RIVERS OF LONDON: BODY WORK, the first story arc in Ben Aaronovitch and Andrew Cartmel‘s comic series set in the same world as Ben’s Peter Grant novels.

BODY WORK, and the five story arcs that have followed (with more to come), are published in English by Titan Comics. Here’s the English-language synopsis…

Peter Grant looks look your average London police officer, but he is actually a part-time wizard in a very elite branch of the Metropolitan Police. It’s his job to investigate those crimes that regular cops don’t like to talk about because they often involve vampires or strange things in Underground tunnels. Peter’s latest case features a self-driving killer automobile, a Serbian refugee, the Most Haunted Car in England, a handsome drug dealer with a nice paisley scarf and a seemingly harmless wooden bench with a dark past!

Collecting the sell-out smash mini-series, Rivers of London: Body Work!

Ben’s Peter Grant novels are published in Germany by DTV, in the UK by Gollancz, in the US by Del Rey and DAW Books, and widely in translation around the world.

Next month (August 9th, to be exact), Jo Fletcher Books is due to published the long-awaited conclusion to Charlaine Harris and Christopher Golden‘s Cemetery Girl comic trilogy, HAUNTED! Here’s the synopsis…

Calexa Rose Dunhill died once, just for a moment — but now someone wants her dead permanently…

They call her the Ghost of Dunhill Cemetery, but most people think ‘the Cemetery Girl’ is just a story. In some ways, that’s true. Her chosen name is Calexa Rose Dunhill, but she doesn’t know her real name. When she first arrived here, all she knew was that someone had tried to murder her: they’d dumped her body and left her for dead. Calexa has been hiding out here, afraid to seek out her true identity for fear that her would-be murderer would find her and finish the job. And someone is searching for her… a man named Salazar, who holds the key that will unlock the secrets of Calexa’s past.

Calexa has new secrets as well, including the fact that she was murdered: she did die, if only for a moment — but in that moment, something changed inside her. Now, if someone dies near her, their spirit is drawn to Calexa, drawn into her. It has happened twice before, but now, as her worst fears come true and the killers have found her trail, the third ghost to take up residence in Calexa’s soul will change everything…

The first two books in the series are available in print and digital, also published by Jo Fletcher Books: THE PRETENDERS and INHERITANCE.

Charlaine Harris is the bestselling author of the Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood series (Gollancz), the Midnight Texas series (Gollancz), the Aurora Teagarden series (Piatkus) and the upcoming Gunnie Rose series (Piatkus).

Zeno represents Charlaine Harris and Christopher Golden in the UK and Commonwealth, on behalf of the JABberwocky Literary Agency in New York.
