Tanya Huff Inducted into Canadian SFF Hall of Fame!

We’re very happy to report that Tanya Huff has been inducted into the Canadian Science Fiction & Fantasy Association’s Hall of Fame!

Huff is the author of, the acclaimed Confederation and Peacekeeper series, the Enchantment Emporium series, the stand-alone THE SILVERED — all of this are published in the UK by Titan Books.

Many congratulations to Tanya! A very well-deserved recognition!

The author’s latest novel in the UK is THE PRIVILEGE OF PEACE, the third novel in the Peacekeeper series. Here’s the synopsis…

Former space marine Torin Kerr returns for one final adventure to save the Confederation in the last book in the military science fiction Peacekeeper trilogy.

Tanya Huff’s THE FUTURE FALLS Out Today in the UK!

THE FUTURE FALLS, the third novel in Tanya Huff‘s fan-favourite Enchantment Emporium urban fantasy series, is now available in the UK. The novel is published by Titan Books, who have also published Huff’s Confederation sci-fi series. Here’s the synopsis…

When Auntie Catherine warns the family of an approaching asteroid, the Gales scramble to keep humans from going the way of the dinosaurs. Fortunately for the world, they’re wielding a guitar and a dragon.

The Gale family can change the world with the charms they cast, which has caused some supernaturally complicated family shenanigans in the past. So when NASA and Doomsday Dan confirm Auntie Catherine’s dire prediction, Charlotte “Charlie” Gale turns to the family for help.

But Allie is unavailable because the universe seems determined to have her produce the seventh son of a seventh son of a seventh son of a Gale. And the Aunties can’t help because they’re tied to the earth – although they are happy to provide their delicious, trademark pies. And in the end, all Charlie has is a guitar…

…and Jack. The Dragon Prince, and a Sorcerer.

But Charlie might like Jack just a little too much, and Jack might like Charlie a little too much in return. Actually, between Allie’s hormones, the Aunties trying to force her and Jack into ritual, the Courts having way too much fun at the end of days, and Jack’s sudden desire to sacrifice himself for the good of the many, Charlie’s fairly certain that the asteroid is the least of her problems.

The Gales are going to need more than pie to save the world from an incoming asteroid. But together there isn’t anything they can’t deal with – except possibly each other.

The first two novels in the series – THE ENCHANTMENT EMPORIUM and THE WILD WAYS, and also THE SILVERED are also out now.

We’re very happy to announce the publication of Tanya Huff‘s second Enchantment Emporium novel, THE WILD WAYS. This is the first time the novel has been published in the UK, and we’re delighted that British readers will have a much easier time getting hold of these great urban fantasy novels. THE WILD WAYS, and the preceding THE ENCHANTMENT EMPORIUM are published by Titan Books. (The series is published by DAW Books in the US.)

Alysha Gale’s cousin Charlotte is a Wild Power, who allies herself with a family of Selkies in a fight against offshore oil drilling. The oil company has hired another of the Gale family’s Wild Powers, the fearsome Auntie Catherine, to steal the Selkies’ sealskins. To defeat her, Charlotte will have to learn what born to be Wild really means in the Gale family…

Cover Reveal: Tanya Huff’s THE FUTURE FALLS

We’re very happy to share with you today the UK artwork for the third novel in Tanya Huff‘s Enchantment Emporium urban fantasy series, THE FUTURE FALLS! The novel is due to be published in the UK in November 2014 by Titan Books. That’s a bit of a wait, but it means you have plenty of time to catch up with the first two books in the series – THE ENCHANTMENT EMPORIUM and THE WILD WAYS (due out in March 2014).

At the time of writing this, there was not yet an official synopsis for the novel. However, the plot revolves around an incoming asteroid, and one of the characters is a stag with the biggest set of antlers you’ve ever seen…

Tanya Huff‘s latest UK release is in stores today! THE ENCHANTMENT EMPORIUM, the first in the author’s urban fantasy series of the same name, is published by Titan Books.

Hot on the heels of our previous cover reveals, Titan Books recently unveiled two more new UK covers for Tanya Huff‘s novels!

THE HEART OF VALOUR, the third in Huff’s Confederation science fiction series, is due to be published February 7th, 2014…

Gunnery Sergeant Torin Kerr was a Confederation Marine’s marine. She’d survived more deadly encounters-and kept more of her officers and enlistees alive-than anyone in the Corps, and she was determined to keep that record intact. But since her last mission, she’d been sidelined into endless briefings and debriefings with no end in sight. So, of course, she’d jumped at the chance to go to Crucible-the Marine Corps training planet-as a temporary aide to Major Svensson. The major had been reduced to little more than a brain and a spinal cord in his last combat, and he and his doctor were anxious to field-test his newly regrown body. It should have been an easy twenty-day run. After all, Crucible was only set up to simulate battle situations so that recruits could be trained safely. But they were barely on-planet when someone started blasting the training scenarios to smithereens. Suddenly, Kerr found herself not only responsible for the major and his doctor but caught in a desperate fight to keep a platoon of Marine recruits alive until someone could discover what was happening on Crucible.

The first two novels in the Confederation series, VALOUR’S CHOICE and THE BETTER PART OF VALOUR, were published at the beginning of December in the UK.
