Today, we’re delighted to be able to share news that  Jonathan Carroll‘s MR. BREAKFAST is eligible in two categories for the Gala Publio 2019 awards: Best eBook and Best Foreign Author. (Publio is Poland’s biggest eBook and Audiobook retailer.)

Anyone with a Publio account can vote for the book (we’re assuming that this is your favourite of the nominees) from now until January 14th.

People want life to be their friend. Some even expect or believe they deserve it. But I think of life only as a companion, and an unpredictable one at that. If it were my friend, life would be hurting or disappointing me all the time. But if it’s only a companion, we’re just traveling the same road together. I’m happy when it’s in a good or generous mood, but I don’t expect anything from it.

“Most of the time we have the ability to make ourselves content or at least comfortable. We shouldn’t need to depend on others or outside sources to supply it or to get us there.”
