Today at 6pm, Lavie Tidhar and Paul McCaffrey will be signing at Forbidden Plant in London! The pair will be signing copies of ADLER #1 (written by Lavie, art by Paul). There will also be advance copies of Lavie’s highly-anticipated new novel, BY FORCE ALONE!

Ben Aaronovitch and artist Lee Sullivan will be at the Forbidden Planet Megastore in London tomorrow from 1-2pm signing copies of their new Rivers of London comic series, DETECTIVE STORIES!

Follow the continuing adventure of Peter Grant, and the special branch of the Met who deal with magic and the supernatural!

Peter Grant has come a long way since first entering that particular special branch of London’s Metropolitan Police. With his hard-earned powers and a flair for the supernatural, it’s his job to investigate those shadowy crimes that involve urban vampires and weird folk in the Underground!

Set in the million-selling Rivers of London series, this comic adventure entitled DETECTIVE STORIES contains four self-contained magical crimes, as recounted by Detective Peter Grant to his superiors!

A Forbidden Planet-exclusive edition of of DETECTIVE STORIES #1 (pictured above) and BLACK MOULD collected edition will also be available at the event. The series is published by Titan Comics. Peter Grant looks look your average London police officer, but he is actually a part-time wizard in a very elite branch of the Metropolitan Police. William Gibson Signing at London Forbidden Planet Next Week!

Next Monday (24th), William Gibson will be stopping by Forbidden Planet in London to sign copies of his critically-acclaimed new novel, THE PERIPHERAL. Brandon Sanderson Signing at London’s Forbidden Planet on Monday!

As part of the summer’s science fiction and fantasy extravaganza taking place in London, Forbidden Planet are hosting Brandon Sanderson for a signing this coming Monday, 4th August! The New York Times and Sunday Times bestselling author of the Stormlight Archives and the Mistborn novels is sure to be a big draw – so make sure you get there early!

NOTE: Brandon will be signing between 6-7pm – not 1-2pm, as stated on the poster above (it’s an older one).

Gollancz publish many of Brandon’s novels in the UK, including the Stormlight Archive – THE WAY OF KINGS and WORDS OF RADIANCE (with more to come), and the Mistborn novels – THE FINAL EMPIRE, THE WELL OF ASCENSION, THE HERO OF AGES, ALLOY OF LAW.
