Cassidy Ellis Salter

Cassidy (they/them) is the author of two novels for younger readers, THE BONE SNATCHER and WHERE THE WOODS END (published as Charlotte Salter). They are currently working on a dark fantasy trilogy which is heavy on bones, sarcasm, and intelligent people making noticeably unintelligent decisions.

Cassidy graduated from the University of Warwick with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing in 2012 and an MA in Writing in 2015. After stints in a digital agency and as a freelance copywriter, they now work in marketing at the same time as writing books. When they’re not busy writing about bones and queer power struggles they can be found roller skating, performing as their very occasional drag king persona, or mudlarking in the Thames. One day they will find a way to do all three at once.
