Second CHRONICLES OF AMBER Omnibus available in Serbia

Laguna recently published a second Chronicles of Amber omnibus, collecting books 3-5: SIGN OF THE UNICORN, THE HAND OF OBERON and THE COURTS OF CHAOS — originally published in 1975, 1976 and 1978, respectively.

Roger Zelazny‘s classic series is published as Hronike Ambera in Serbia. The three novels included in this collection are published as ZNAK JEDNOROGA, OBERONOVA RUKA, DVOROVI HAOSA. You can read a sample, here. Here’s the synopsis…

Roger Zelazny’s CHRONICLES OF AMBER Coming to TV!

As reported in Hollywood Reporter a short while ago, the Chronicles of Amber, Roger Zelazny‘s classic fantasy series, is in development for television! Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead, and David Alpert of Skybound Entertainment are teaming up with Vincent Newman Entertainment to bring the influential series to the small screen.

Said Alpert, ‘Chronicles of Amber is one of my favorite book series of all time, and one of my main inspirations for working in film and television. Getting to produce this project is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. I can’t wait to share this amazing story with a new generation of fans.’ Here’s some information about the series…

Roger Zelazny’s Chronicles follows the story of Corwin, who awakens on Earth with no memory, but soon finds he is a prince of a royal family that has the ability to travel through different dimensions of reality (called “shadows”) and rules over the one true world/dimension known as Amber. The novel series unfolds over ten books with two definitive story arches entitled “The Corwin Cycle” and “The Merlin Cycle.” The series has sold more than fifteen million copies globally and has been credited as one of the main inspirations for Game of Thrones.

First Two Chronicles of Amber Novels now Published in Serbia!

This year, Laguna has published HRONIKE AMBERA: TOM I, an omnibus including the first two novels in Roger Zelazny‘s Chronicles of Amber — DEVET PRINČEVA AMBERA (NINE PRINCES IN AMBER) and PUŠKE AVALONA (THE GUNS OF AVALON). Here’s the synopsis…

Serijal Hronike Ambera je klasik fantastike. Sastoji se od deset delova objavljivanih između 1970. i 1991. godine. Ovaj tom sadrži prva dva romana: Devet prinčeva Ambera i Puške Avalona.

Amber je jedini stvaran svet, a svi ostali svetovi njegovi su odrazi – tek Senke, kojima pripadnici kraljevske loze Ambera mogu da barataju, da ih menjaju, kreću se među njima i možda ih i stvaraju. Roger Zelazny‘s Chronicles of Amber fantasy series is available in Poland in two omnibus editions! Published by Zysk i S-Ka Wydawnictwo as KRONIKI AMBERU TOM I and TOM II, here’s the synopsis for the first volume…

Zielone oczy, ciemne włosy, łuskowe rękawice, miecz przy boku i peleryna spięta klamrą. Oto Corwin, książę Amberu. Przeżył kilkaset lat na Ziemi, a dziś wraca, by walczyć o tron prawdziwego świata.

Jedynym prawdziwym światem jest Amber, natomiast pozostałe, w tym i rzeczywistość ziemska, to światy-cienie.
