Christian/Miles was born in Pittsburgh PA in 1962, got an honours degree in Medieval History and Classics at the University of Rochester and served in the U. S. Navy for 13 years. In 1996, while still a LCDR he published his first novel, NIGHT TRAP, with his father, the noted author and academic Kenneth Cameron. Starting in 1999 he became a full time author. In 2000 he moved to Canada and in 2003 married Sarah Watt. They have one child, one cat and recently a dog.

Since 1996 Christian has written more than 50 novels including the Long War series, the Chivalry series, the Red Knight series and most recently, the Arcana Imperii science fiction series.
